Meet Emerson
Our first website created is for Emerson White. Emerson, more fondly known as Eme, has just turned two years old. Below is an excerpt from Emerson's C.O.T.A. blog:
"We received “the call†Wednesday, June 18th & Emerson received her gift of life in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 19th. The surgeon removed most of her large intestine, half her stomach, and all her spleen. She replaced her liver, pancreas, and small intestine. All organs were from a single donor of similar body size. We are so thankful to the donor family and think of them often through this difficult time. As you may know, Eme’s journey doesn’t end here…rather, it’s now just beginning...."
